Placantonakis Lab

About

Welcome to the Placantonakis Laboratory at NYU Langone

Our laboratory studies glioma, a devastating primary brain tumor, and human neural development. We try to understand how these tumors form and progress, and how they differ from and overlap with human neurogenesis. Ultimately, we hope to use our findings to develop novel therapeutic strategies.

We welcome applications for postdoctoral fellow positions to work on projects involving 3D chromatin organization in human neurogenesis and gliomagenesis, calcium dynamics in glioblastoma, and adhesion G protein-coupled receptor function and signaling.
